Yummm

Alrighty guys. As sooooon as I posted this on insta I IMMEDIATELY received so many people asking how, why, and I should sell. I figured welp let me spill all my secrets on here. If you want the recipe, ask the foodie. This here is the famous Cinnamon Roll French Toast. (In no way am I taking credit for this masterpiece, the recipe is all over Pinterest. But then again what isn't?) I do have some modifications for the recipe though. I have made this multiple times and in multiple ways, and I will tell you what works best for me.

First off let us talk about ingredients. You will need:

1 Can of Pillsbury Cinnamon Rolls

2 Tbs. of Butter

3 Eggs

1/4 Cup Heavy Cream

1 Tsp. Ground Cinnamon

1 Tsp. Vanilla Extract

1/2 Cup of Maple Syrup

Now we can talk Recipe:

What I found the most important in this recipe is... drumroll please.. SIZE OF PAN. This plays a large roll in how quickly and evenly the dish cooks. I have tried to double the recipe and well lets just say I had a big soupy mess. #NoBueno I found that a 13x9 in. pan works the best. It allows for the cinnamon rolls to rise and the french toast to bake evenly.

1. Preheat oven to 375 degrees. Melt butter and coat the pan.

2. Take out cinnamon rolls from packaging and cut them into 8 small pieces (anyone else scared of the pop from opening the can?)

3. In a separate bowl combine eggs, vanilla, heavy cream, and cinnamon.

4. Place cut cinnamon rolls in buttered pan evenly.

5. Pour mixture over cinnamon rolls.

6. Pour 1/2 cup of maple syrup on top of batter covered cinnamon rolls.

7. Pop that baby in the oven for 20-25 minutes.

8. Side trick: Stick a toothpick in and if it comes out clean you are ready to dig in.

9. When it is all baked evenly, take the icing from the Pillsbury can and microwave for 10 seconds.

10. Pour that sucker all over your gooey cinnamon roll french toast.

And that is all folks. I hope you enjoy this delicious breakfast treat, or anytime treat!

What do you want me to make next?!
