Mother Clucker & The Ridge Fries

When I say Coates is motherclucking good, I mean its motherclucking good! #mothercluckingood I am a chicken lover so I my be a little biased, but I truly believe that Coates had the best fried chicken I have ever had. The spice, the sauce, the flavor... THE FRIES! I have very few corrective criticisms for Coates. I had the Mother Clucker chicken sandwich. It is fried chicken with tomato, red onion (faaav), pickles (also fav, anyone else?), lettuce, honey mustard (#favagain), and "Ma's Sauce." Now this burger had literally all of my favorite things so another reason why I might be a tad biased but delicious nonetheless.

Lets move on to the fries now. Both fries. I am a #fryfanatic, and these fries, they were the perfect amount of crispy and flavorful with a little bit of spice. They were heavenly. The loaded fries were also delicious, but I would say one thing. Order without the Jalapenos. Don't get me wrong, I love a little spice in my life, but there were also peppercinis. It was just two different kind of spices and it threw me off a little.

Service

Service was great. I again asked for a suggestion and was directed to the Mother Clucker their #1 seller. Staff was friendly and welcoming and know what they are talking about. The seating area is very small, so don't come with a large group if you expect everyone to have a seat. I would say the food is good enough to eat standing though.

All in all, the chicken sandwich and loaded fries are definitely worth trying. On the plus side Claremont is such a cute place to just stroll around and maybe even discover other new places to eat or drink.
